I am not usually fond of the sea. I much rather spend my time in a city or, alternatively, a mountain. However, after last week’s record high temperatures in Vienna and me being stuck here working … I have to admit that my mind wandered to a place, far away. One that had soft sand and clear salt water. The good thing is that daydreaming usually excludes my main complaints about the sea – pollution, people, insects, heat, jelly fishes, food poisonings and being almost naked in public. All that’s left is the peace of mind and the breeze on my skin.
Don’t ever tell anyone that I dream of the sea.
Pictures by me and my friend from that one and only time I called and said I want to go look at the sea.
