High above Bratislava

Bratislava’s weird and awesome, alien looking UFO tower on the Nový most is a bit shorter than Vienna’s Donauturm and is “just” 95 meters high. I’ve been inside only once. After an amazing day spent in the city, I managed to go up shortly before I had to take the bus back to Vienna.

I love its design and alien-ness. I love the view of the castle and the rest of the city. If I get the chance, I’ll get up there again and see how everything looks like in the light of day. I am betting it’s just as breathtaking as in the night time.

And what do you know! There is also a restaurant at the top. Say what you will about humans, but we know how to wine and dine.
